Plan

To develop, launch and communicate the new Banking on the Future Scholarship from Mechanics Savings Bank to the public, nine area high schools and the media through the use of a minisite, posters, letters to guidance offices, P-A announcements, in-branch POS materials, and local print media. A total of $13,000 in scholarships were awarded to thirteen graduating high school seniors at nine high schools in Mechanics Savings Bank’s service area.

Numerous scholarship recipients wrote letters of thanks to the Bank’s president.

Many guidance directors, principals and parents expressed their appreciation for Mechanics Savings Bank’s involvement in the community and support of education.
