Randy has bee a media strategist for 33 years and has bought media in more than 200 U.S. markets and numerous foreign countries for a wide array of clients. In addition, he has been an advisor to government officials, political candidates, public officials, and corporate executives in multiple media advisory capacities, from speech writing to media relations. 

Randy attended Louisiana State University and is the author of two books, two syndicated newspaper columns, and numerous magazine and Internet articles. He has hosted his own television and radio program and has appeared often as a TV and radio program guest, including a CNN appearance. He has produced TV and radio ads and taught seminars ranging from Media Buying to Media Relations.

Equal rights/human rights

Proudest moment:
Winning a sheriff's race and beating a political machine almost 19 years after I promised by grandparents that I would.

What gets you belly laughing?
Telling the jokes and stories I learned from elders when I was a child and seeing other people enjoy them as much as I did.

If you could invite any celebrity, living or dead, over for beers, who would it be?
Benjamin Franklin. I would let him do most of the talking.

Dream travel destination:
Cuba

Biggest lesson learned:
Life is a marathon, not a hundred yard dash. The same can be said for successful media campaigns.
